Experience the life of family on an Italian farm! Discover the everyday life of a farming community, while improving your Italian language skills! As active family members, program participants will learn to do some farm work, like fruit picking (apples, strawberries, olives, grapes, etc.), animals care, selling farm produce on the markets, etc. In exchange for accommodations and and meals, participants may work an average of 40 hours per week with the full weekend off. The participants' program goal is to experience the farm lifestyle in the middle of an Italian countryside, compare to the one in his/her own home country, or learn new skills, while gaining a new appreciation for Mother Nature.

Participants live with a host family on the farm, with full board and private room.
Terms of participation
- Participants must be between 18 and 30 years old
- Have a basic knowledge of Italian
- Be in good physical healthBe motivated and understand that running a farm is hard work
- Love nature and the countryside
- Have travel insurance covering sickness, accidents, repatriation, and third party liability
Included: farmstay family search, screening and placement process; accommodation and meals as described; local program support; administrative fees; various taxes
Not included: round trip transportation, transfer, local transportation if needed, personal expenses, travel insurance, passport & visa fees
