Our Program

For many years it has been recognised that Australia is a very popular destination for secondary school aged students. The education system is verygood, the value exceptional, the academic standard high, and the co-curricular and extra-curricular activities second to none in the world. The Australian government regulates the number of students entering the country to attend secondary school as exchange students, thereby causing disappointment for many young people and their parents. WEP gives you the opportunity to part of the ‘Aussie’ dream for a while by offering you a program where you can choose the State and school you attend.

Students are welcome to study in all states of Australia for periods of one term (3 months), a semester (5 months), three terms (9 months), an academic year (11 months) or even multiple years, giving them the advantage of an Australian school graduation!

WEP Program - It is all about Choice.

  • Select your school based on location, government or independent, boarding, single sex or co-educational.
  • No geographic limitations. Choose a school in the tropical north, near spectacular surf beaches all over the country,  cosmopolitan cities such as Melbourne (annually judged world’s most liveable and friendliest city), Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth and in Tasmania – one of the world’s last untouched wildernesses with its amazing outdoor activities.
  • Program lengths – from one term (trimester), semester, three terms, academic year or even multiple years that enable graduation and university entrance.
  • Year level/subjects – select your year level and choose the subjects you wish to study.
  • Specialist programs that are incorporated into the academic program so you can concentrate on your area of specialisation.
  • Accommodation – live the true Australian life by living with a carefully selected and screened homestay family that is ready to ‘turn you into an Aussie.’
  • Convalidation – have your school reports validated so that you don’t have to repeat the year back home.
  • Seeing more of Australia – trips are planned for the school holidays that enable you to see more than your local area.

Choose the School

The majority of Australian students attend schools which are fully funded by the government. Although Australian residents do not pay school fees, they do pay subject levies, the cost of which depends on the subjects studied and electives chosen. These schools do not have religious affiliations and are mostly co-educational.

We have a large selection of both government and independent schools that students may choose to attend, based on their own personal preferences. Choose from a selection of schools that specialise in a range of sports, arts based subjects and languages

  • Languages - Choose from OVER 30 different schools throughout QLD, NSW, VIC & SA who specialise in: French, Chinese, German, Italian, Japanese, Spanish
  • IB Schools - Choose from 7 International Baccalaureate schools in either QLD or SA
  • Marine Science, Math, Dance, Music & Performing arts

Schools Are Available All over Australia —
